Abstract :
Ius curia novit means that judges are considered to know all laws. Judges play a decisive role in deciding or determining a verdict or ruling. The legal knowledge possessed by judges can be clearly seen in the description of the considerations in verdict number 8/PUU-XVIII, verdict number 202/Pid.Sus, and ruling number 111/Pdt.P. The two-year decade of the Judicial Institutions, namely the Constitutional Court in 2020, the Religious Court Tlk in 2022, and the District Court Jak-Tim in 2024, has been able to unravel and build the existence of law, and create legal innovations. The decisions and rulings issued by judges are inseparable from legal reasoning. Behind their robes, they show the legal world that even though judges have knowledge of all laws, their reasoning about the law must be tested. Theoretically, this paper aims to increase knowledge about legal science, demonstrating its ability to coexist with other disciplines. Legal reasoning in a judge's deliberations requires not only legal knowledge but also other knowledge of other disciplines such as astronomy, psychology, religion, and philosophy.
